慈雲山聖文德天主教小學陳美玲老師在其獲得「eClass 全港中小學教案設計比賽 - 最佳運用電子教學工具獎」之小學英文教案《Fantastic Animals》中,結合其合作教學技巧「Think-Pair-Share」,巧妙運用了各種不同的電子工具,例如:PowerBoard 創意圖工具PowerConcept 概念圖工具PowerVoice 錄音工具PowerSpeech 語音發聲工具等,提升英語聽說讀寫之鍛練;同時,亦藉著即時投票及即時小測等工具進行有效的教學評估。

Unit 2: Fantastic Animals

Lesson: 6th lesson

Previous knowledge:
1. Use simple present tense and adjectives to describe animals.

Learning Outcomes:
1. Learn the special features of the animals in Hong Kong Wetland Park.
2. Train up students’ reading, writing, speaking skills and critical thinking skills.


Details

Motivation
(5 minutes)
1. Ask question: Do you like watching animals?

2. Show the video about Hong Kong Wetland Park.


Pre-task Activity
(10 minutes)
1. Show the PowerPoint.



2. Ask questions about the animals

While-task Activity
(20 minutes)
1. Matching game.
    Match the animals with Hong Kong Wetland Park and Ocean Park.



2. Quiz time.



3. Think-Pair-Share.
    Think: Make a riddle by each student.
    Pair: work in pairs and discuss the riddles together.
    Share: Make the recording to share the riddles to the class.





Post-task Activity
(5 minutes)
1. Play the guessing game with the riddles.
